The Welcome Club is a day activity club for people over fifty that meets at the Salvation Army Haven at the bottom of Lake Road Portsmouth every Monday from 10am to 2.30pm. You can stay for the whole time, or pop in for an hour or so, depending on what suits you best. Subs are only 50p per week.
 
We are a very friendly group with both male and female members and we meet for socialising, companionship, quizzes, activities and outings etc. Most Mondays we have a guest speaker and we try to keep the programme as varied as possible.
 
Most members have their lunch in the Salvation Army café next door - but this is entirely optional, and some members pop into town or bring a sandwich lunch.
