Vietnamese Elders Group

The Vietnamese Elders Group meets at Christ Church Milton, 239 Milton Road (corner of Edgware Road, PO4 8PH) on Tuesday every fortnight from 12.00pm to 3.00pm.
 
This group started in 1994. On average, about 8-16 people attend the group. The aim is to create social activities for elderly people who are socially isolated due to language barriers, lack of transportation etc.
 
Group members are able to have a chart in their own language, play games, read Vietnamese magazines or borrow Vietnamese music DVDs. Group members usually bring and share some traditional Vietnamese food at the meetings.
 
Sometimes we organise Health Seminars, workshops and summer outing trips for elderly people. Transport can be provided for people in Portsmouth.
