Patchwork Gardening Project

When older people move to a residential setting, they often leave behind their gardens and gardening activities. Perhaps they are unable to dig, lift or bend.
 
The project offers a weekly session with a safe and sensible worker who will enable residents to plan, plant and tend a small garden space. They will organise volunteers if heavier work needs to be done. There are also organised activities for when the weather is inclement.
