Haven Good Neighbour Scheme

This scheme aims to identify those senior members of our community who are able to live within their own homes but would benefit from someone offering friendship and support. This would enable them to live with a little more independence in their own environment.
 
Whilst the Good Neighbours' Scheme is essentially about befriending, it can in some circumstances include fetching a prescription or light shopping.
 
All volunteers are police checked to ensure safety.
 
The scheme is run from the Haven community centre by the Salvation Army in partnership with social services and is supported by SRB 5 funding.
