HOW DO I APPLY FOR A DISABLED PARKING (BLUE) BADGE?
 
Social Care services are responsible for issuing disabled parking badges in Portsmouth.
If you have difficulty walking you may be entitled to a disabled parking badge. Here's how to apply:

1. telephone 023 9284 1176 ask for a form to be sent to you.
2. complete the form and return it. Please make sure that the information you put down on the form is about the disabled person who needs the badge.
3. they will contact the disabled person's GP to confirm the information you've given.
4. if your application is acceptable, your disabled parking badge will be sent to your home.
5. information on how to use the disabled parking badge will be sent to you with the badge.

HOW DO I APPLY FOR A DISABLED PARKING BAY?
 
If you feel you could benefit from an allocated parking space in the road outside your house, please contact the Highways section of Portsmouth City Council's Engineering and Design Service on 023 9281 7096 for an application form.
 
Details of the criterion required for obtaining a parking bay are set out in the form. If these are met the form will then be processed, if not they will notify you accordingly.
