Cinema Scheme

Lights, camera, action! We all love a good movie. Going to the cinema is a great way of relaxing and getting away from the stresses and strains of everyday life.

If the person you care for is a regular cinema visitor or would like to visit the cinema occasionally then this scheme is for you. The Cinema Exhibitors' Association Card entitles the holder to a free ticket for a person accompanying them to the cinema.

To qualify for a card, you will need to meet one or more of the following criteria:
  • Be in receipt of the disability living allowance or attendance allowance.
  • Be a registered blind person.
  • Be a holder of a disabled person's rail card.
The card lasts for 3 years from the date of issue. Application forms are available from cinemas across the UK who support this scheme. A processing fee of five pounds is chargeable per card. This is to be sent along with the completed application form.
